The Walking Dead Season 7 spoilers are beginning to appear. Fans of the series feared that Negan would kill the young Carl Grimes after a cryptic message from Chandler Riggs's father that was shared on Facebook.

It's been already six months since Negan walks into the world of The Walking Dead and killing someone with his barbed-wire bat. Chandler Riggs who play as Carl Grimes in the series has been speculated to the next victim of Negan.

According to Express, the speculation started to arouse when Rigg's father posted a message online talking about the hardship faced by Chandler as a part of the show. It was reported that the post was quickly removed by the father after a short time.

Is Chandler Riggs Leaving the Series?

A report from Morning News USA claims that Riggs would be starting college after being accepted in Auburn College. Basing on Rigg's revelation, speculations arose that the character of Carl would end this season to pursue higher education.

His father's Instagram post left the fans in panic after sharing a photo with his son with a caption, "Completed seven years on TWD! #freedom #thewalkingdead". The hashtag "#Freedom" was interpreted as something permanent and not a hiatus between the seasons.

Who's Negan's Next Victim?

As of now, there has been no confirmation about the speculation about Rigg's exit to the show. However, several theories have emerged stating that his departure would affect the series in many ways.

"I have to take note that there's a seemingly significant portion of the audience that wasn't happy with that direction. I think everyone on The Walking Dead creative team has taken note of that, and I don't know that I would expect a similar cliffhanger at the end of season seven," series creator Robert Kirkman said pertaining to the last year's controversial climax which now provoked viewers curiosity with its refusal to reveal Negan's victim.
