So many heroes are set to show-up between Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and the Justice League movie that it is hard to keep count on when they are showing up and what film it will be in. But one actor is choosing to keep the rumor mill going for one movie while laying to rest the other.

Is This The DC Response To Marvel's 'Guardians of the Galaxy?'

Speaking with E! last week, Benedict Cumberbatch talked about his involvement in either Batman v Superman or Justice League and whether the rumors of his casting are true.

"I think Batman v. Superman is going to happen. It's a film that's being made. I'm not at liberty to say whether I'm Batman or Superman," Cumberbatch joked.

'Arrow' Star Says His Character Should Be In 'Justice League'

"Justice League, yeah. Maybe. Let the rumor mill run. I don't know. I mean this is like the second time I've heard these rumors. I love rumors."

While Cumberbatch is joking around with the reporter, his name has been linked with Justice League as a possibility to play the Martian Manhunter and be a half good and half evil character for the movie. But the actor has been linked to just about every other big name property under the sun as well, including playing Doctor Strange.

Justice League right now has Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Cyborg, and Aquaman involved with other possible heroes like The Flash, Green Lantern, and Stephen Amell's Green Arrow showing up.

The film will be directed by Zack Snyder from a script by Chris Terrio. It is expected out in early 2017.
