Once again the fandom of One Direction went wild this year, when news broke Tuesday that former member Zayn Malik called off his relationship with Little Mix's Perrie Edwards.

Did Zayn Malik End His Relationship With Little Mix's Perrie Edwards?

Rumors touching on this topic have surfaced before, but more evidence was present this time around in favor of the split than against it.

Edwards along with her bandmates, Jesy Nelson, Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Jade Thirlwall, are presently in the United States doing promo for their upcoming third album Get Weird and the girls chatted with E! News, which led to Edwards commenting on the split therefore truly confirming it since Malik nor her had addressed it prior to this interview she did.

In the video below the reporter addressed the split, saying, "Perrie, obviously I know it's a very tough time for you," which Edwards coolly responded to with "Yep."

The reporter continued on, asking the Little Mix singer how she is doing now post-split from the former One Direction member.

"I'm good, thank you," Edwards said, keeping her composure.

Her bandmates jumped in to derail any further questions about the split.

"We don't really want to talk about it," Pinnock stated, which seemed to bring a mega-watt smile to Edwards' face.

Sources from other media outlets claimed Edwards is "devastated," but E! News learned that's not the case.

Their source claimed Edwards and Malik haven't been good for quite some time so their split is for the best.

"Her friends are rallying around her. She's doing fine," the source dished.
