As Rosie O'Donnell went through a nasty battle in her split from Michelle Rounds, it seems like she's gotten her life together with an expensive fresh start.

On Wednesday, Gossip Extra discovered that the comedian and former talk show host just bought a fancy mansion in West Palm Beach worth $5 million. The place is 5,700-square-foot with five bedrooms and six bathrooms, and is located in a gay friendly city.

The site even posted some photos of the home that has a spacious living room and a pretty elegant bathroom with a place to exercise right around the corner.

Meanwhile, TMZ caught up with O'Donnell's soon-to-be ex-wife Michelle Rounds last May to talk about the divorce battle. The two have reportedly been fighting over custody of their daughter Dakota. Rounds made it clear that she should be the one to take care of her.

"Honestly, I used to be afraid of Rosie, but I'm not afraid of Rosie anymore because I want what's best for Dakota," the TV personality's ex said. "And what's best for Dakota is to be with me, I am the better mother. Dakota should be with me."

Rounds also pointed out how difficult this process is since O'Donnell has more power due to fame.

"Divorce is really hard. But imagine going through a divorce with a celebrity, someone who's very, very powerful, someone who has all the media and publicists and all that behind them," Rounds said. "I'm just a normal person. I'm just David vs. Goliath. I don't know, I don't understand it."
