The Vampire Diaries is coming back in the fall with a brand new season that is going to be very different considering Elena's (Nina Dobrev) in a deep sleep.

Something that will not be too different though is the showcasing of musical talents. This supernatural series has showcased the musical talents of Candice Accola (Caroline on the show) before, especially last season, but in the upcoming season it seems like Enzo (Michael Malarkey) will be getting in on the musical action.

The CW Television Network YouTube channel uploaded a video of the cast and two of the executive producers discussing the upcoming season, which can be seen below.

Julie Plec engaged Malarkey in a question about bringing "his musical talents to the show."

"For those who don't know, he has been on a nice world tour across all of Europe with a man and his guitar," Plec dished.

Malarkey is totally down for showing off his singing and guitar playing skills.

"Sure," he coolly said.

Plec revealed that about "30 minutes" beforehand of filming this brief Q&A session that she and the other writers plan to bring "his musical talents to the show."

Perhaps it will be in a flash forward or flashback since Enzo seems to be involved in those kinds of scenes this upcoming season.

Aside from Malarkey's "musical talents" coming to TVD, he and the other cast members discussed how their characters are heading into the new season. Malarkey noted Enzo feels as though "he's found his place with Lily [Annie Wersching] and her heretics."

The series returns to The CW in the fall for Season 7.
