The disgraced television icon has been ordered to testify in a deposition. Famous attorney Gloria Allred filed the request recently and while one of Cosby’s lawyers, Monique Pressley, made it clear she would fight it and filed an appeal, Allred and her client, who has accused Cosby of sexual assault, won this battle.

Allred said in a statement Thursday that it will take place later this year.

“We are pleased that we will now be able to move ahead without further delay on Ms. Huth’s case and we look forward to taking Mr. Cosby’s deposition on October 9, 2015.”

Allred’s client Judy Huth filed a civil lawsuit against Cosby last year that claimed he sexually assaulted her at the Playboy Mansion back in 1974. She was 15 at the time.

Another lawyer representing Cosby said that her lawsuit is “meritless and unsupported.”

But she will be able to share her side via testimony on Oct. 15.

His entire legal team has called the entire fiasco of all of the women’s claims against Cosby, “unsubstantiated, fantastical stories.”

Cosby has never faced any criminal charges.

His lawyers have yet to release a statement on the ordered deposition.

Given that this will be his testimony under oath, many are looking to get the truth in what happened in this case.

The news comes about a month after it was revealed that Cosby admitted during a deposition back in 2005 that he ordered quaaludes for women to have intercourse with them.
