It's time for a Hannibal series finale.
NBC gave Dr. Lecter the boot (rude) earlier this summer, and "The Wrath of the Lamb" will become the series' last episode on Aug. 29. From NBC's latest description, it sounds like the psychological-thriller will go out with a bang.
"In a desperate bid to slay Francis Dolarhyde (guest star Richard Armitage), Will Graham (Hugh Dancy) engineers a cunning ploy utilizing Hannibal Lecter (Mads Mikkelsen)," NBC revealed. "Upon learning of his plan, Bedelia Du Maurier (Gillian Anderson) voices concerns that Will's actions may not only put his life in peril, but the lives of those around him. As the end draws near, Will remains unflinching in his game with Hannibal-even when it means coming face-to-face with his own darkest fears."
Well, mark us down as terrified and excited. If showrunner Bryan Fuller's next finale is anything like his last, viewers will be left with their jaws on the floor and tears in their eyes.
