Monty Brinson doesn't seem concerned with money.

Kim Richards Arrested For Shoplifting At Target, Monty Brinson Responds

Days after his ex-wife, Kim Richards, formerly of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, was arrested for shoplifting and accused of being broke and homeless, Brinson shared a post on social media, during which he claimed money wasn't all it's cracked up to be.

"Today I was thinking about poverty and great wealth," Brinson wrote on Instagram on Friday. "Being rich doesn't change your experience in the way you think. The only difference is that you do not have to worry about money. Food, roof, bills, clothes ect. But all the other experiences emotions, relationships, depression, money can not buy. So in that aspect we are all the same. Just a thought I had. Wishing everyone a beautiful day no matter your situation. As always from me love to all. #quote #blessed #saying #thankful #life #love #truth #honesty #happiness."

Could Troubled 'RHOBH' Star Kim Richards Be Placed On A Psychiatric Hold?

Following the former reality star's arrest, reports surfaced, claiming she had no where to live in the days leading up to the shoplifting allegations.

“Kim Richards was living out of her car when she was arrested Sunday for shoplifting at Target," TMZ reported on Tuesday. "Kim had been house-hopping since leaving rehab last month. She quickly ran out of friends and relatives who would extend themselves, and has been homeless ever since.”

Richards is due in court on Aug. 20 to address a charge of petty theft.
