Erica Mena Still Staying Quiet About Wedding Details, Insists She’s ‘Happy’

It looks like they’re moving out of his mother’s Atlanta basement and into their own place as they continue to plan their highly anticipated wedding.

She took to Twitter Friday to reveal the news.

Of course the couple have homes in multiple locations like Atlanta and Los Angeles and possibly Miami. So they could have just been buying a new home in one of those areas and still indeed living in his mother’s basement. But of course given that Bow Wow has been famous since he was a tot and Mena has her own successes, the basement is well above the average.

The rapper and CSI: Cyber star told People magazine back in April that living in the basement was the sensible thing to do. And he didn’t plan to stop anytime soon.

“First of all the house is too big, but I want to make sure my mom is comfortable forever. It’s like I have a condo downstairs. I’ve had 100 people there and my mom has been asleep and has never heard the music, screaming, laughter or drinking. I mean full blown house parties downstairs while she is in the bed asleep. So I’m staying right here.”

He said him and his mother could easily go days without seeing one another because the space was so big. But being so close was also a convenience for him.

“I don’t have to get in the car and drive anywhere to see her. I just come up the stairs and say, ‘What up, Mom.”
