It sounds like the next season of The Originals is going to have action and emotion happening at the same time.

On Friday, Entertainment Weekly posted a spoiler scoop on the upcoming episodes of the creepy series where Joseph Morgan (Klaus) said he filmed a "huge fight scene." The site noted that it will likely involve another vampire.

"There was definitely an emotional content to this fight," Morgan said without revealing who he's going up against. Whoever it is, the actor added that "it's been a long time coming."

Meanwhile, TV Line previously spoke with Daniel Gillies (Elijah) and Charles Michael Davis (Marcel) on other things that fans can expect later this fall. Klaus and Elijah will likely continue their difficult brotherly relationship and others might be involved in that as well.

"I think the show is going to circumnavigate itself around this desperate relationship between the brothers," Gillies said. "I think the rift between them is going to precipitate a whole lot of savagery and the fallout from that is where everybody scurries to."

While that's happening, Marcel will be spending more time with Freya now that she's found her freedom.

"I'm going to be hanging out with Freya, showing her the bars and everything that's cool about New Orleans," Davis said. "She's been locked up for hundreds of years so I think that's going to be Marcel's number one priority."

The Originals Season 3 premieres on Thursday, October 8 at 9 p.m. ET on The CW.
