As many fans eagerly await the 2013 release of "Iron Man 3," Marvel continues to stir the pot of anticipation by giving them snippets of information.  Since the future blockbuster's official trailer was posted a few weeks back, promotional images and rumors have been running wild.  However, it's the latest Japanese trailer that's sparking new buzz amongst the die-hards.

While the teaser clip is short in length, it brings fans a different flavor from the original one, as it actually correlates with Joss Whedon's "The Avengers" flick.  From within the SDCC clips, a comedic but important discussion ensues between Jon Favreau and Robert Downey Jr. concerning the devastation left in New York City by the Avengers.

With that said, "Iron Man 3" will be the first film put out by Marvel proceeding that. Hence, judging by the trailer, they'll certainly be addressing the issue.

According to Screenrant, Marvel president Kevin Feige was adamant in saying that the newest "Iron Man" will not be similar in humor to "The Avengers" mega-movie but "different and fresh" despite the obvious indicators in the Japanese teaser.

Feige has also been redundant in emphasizing that the script, which was co-written by Shane Black, will more or less take Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) "back to the cave" where he had been in prison for the first film.  Another words, Stark may have to solely depend on his own nature to survive, rather than being bailed out.

"Iron Man 3" recently wrapped up filming in Wilmington, N.C., with some more scenes rumored to be shot in China that supposedly won't involve any of the main cast, according to Comic Book.

Although the movie's trailer may have insinuated a darker and less comic tone than the franchise's previous films, Feige told Movie Moron: "It's not a serious movie, but we seriously dig into exploring more of Tony. ...What you'll see in Iron Man 3 are some very unique directions being taken."
