Lady Gaga is already impressing the boss behind FX's American Horror Story.

Will Jessica Lange Consider Returning To 'American Horror Story' After This Season?

Gaga, who is starring in American Horror Story: Hotel, just started work on production this week and has already made an impression. AHS boss Ryan Murphy tweeted Wednesday night about Gaga's performance in the upcoming season, praising her to the high heavens.

The tweet was retweeted by thousands of followers, including Gaga herself. In American Horror Story: Hotel, Gaga plays Elizabeth, the owner of the Cortez Hotel, a wealthy socialite who is also referred to as The Countess. Her character makes a decision regarding the hotel in the first episode that will have major consequences in the episodes to come.

Gaga debuted what may be her look in Hotel on Instagram this week. The selfie shows Gaga with a shorter haircut and wearing red-framed glasses. In the caption she wrote, "The Countess here."

However, there have been no official photos of any actors as their Hotel characters, so fans will have to wait a little longer to see Gaga in her new role.

It's been announced that Gaga will only be in eight episodes of the 13, which shouldn't be too much of a surprise considering her busy schedule.

American Horror Story: Hotel premieres Wednesday, Oct. 7 at 10 p.m. ET/PT on FX.
