Falling Skies is ramping up the tension ahead of a possible Mason massacre.

'Falling Skies' Season 5: A Happy Ending For The Masons? Connor Jessup Teases Finale

The TNT drama is nearing the end of its run, and Tom Mason's (Noah Wyle) family is on the chopping block once more. As "Stalag 14th Virginia" begins, four of the Mason brood is just moments away from death.

Hal (Drew Roy), Tom, and Ben (Connor Jessup) were sentenced to death for their alleged Espheni connections during "Everybody Has Their Reasons," and Anne (Moon Bloodgood) will soon join the boys in prison. It will then be up to Weaver (Will Patton) and Matt (Maxim Knight) to try and save them all.

'Falling Skies' Season 5: A Mason Massacre In The Cards? Drew Roy Teases Possible Deaths

A new sneak peek shows Katie Marshall's navel base setting up a firing squad, but the faces of the victims are completely obscured. Before bullets start to fly, the clip jumps seven hours into the past. Weaver is attempting to persuade his old flame that no one in the Second Mass is a traitor, but his powers of persuasion are falling flat.

Oddly enough, the Colonel decides to side with Marshall, but it looks like Weaver is merely biding his time until he can figure out what's really going on with the Fighting 14. The Weaver we know would never turn on his friends.

Do you think Weaver will really align himself with the leader of the 14th? Sound off in the comments below!
