The Fighting 14th is planning a Mason massacre on Falling Skies.

'Falling Skies' Season 5: A Happy Ending For The Masons? Connor Jessup Teases Finale

Something is very, very wrong at the United States' last post apocalyptic naval base, and Capt. Marshal's perpetual neck wound harbingers a dangerous Espheni connection. Apparently more than willing to off humanities greatest hope, it appears at least one of the soldiers is under the sway of an overlord.

As Hal (Drew Roy), Ben (Connor Jessup), Anne (Moon Bloodgood), and Tom (Noah Wyle) await their death by firing squad, Roy has dropped a few hints about their chances of survival and the malicious Espheni who is waiting just outside the gates.

"It think that final frame is what is sort of indicative of the whole situation as to why things are so absurd in the end," Roy told After Buzz TV, explaining why life inside the base is so off kilter. "To me it seems ridiculous that you're in the apocalypse and your just going to kill someone because of hearsay?"

Killing may be Capt. Marshal's plan, but it remains to be seen if any of the Mason clan will actually drop. While Tom's and his sons have managed to survive against all odds in the past, their luck may be running out.

"I don't know, there's a lot of Masons running around after all these years," Roy teased.

Find out if Ben, Hal, Anne, and Tom will make it through "Stalag 14th Virginia" when Falling Skies airs Sundays at 10 p.m. ET on TNT. See a preview below.
