The pro golfer is dating Annie Verret who has made appearances at some of his tournaments in the past months. But there's another lady in Spieth's life who is a big supporter of him- his sister, Ellie.

On Saturday, For The Win posted the details when Spieth said that Ellie is the "best thing that ever happened" to his family.

Ellie, who was born with a neurological disorder, is more than proud of her brother and apparently likes to make deals with him depending on how his tournaments go.

"She only accepts me and I win," Spieth said. "And if I don't win, I better have something for her or take her shopping."

The site posted a photo of Spieth and his sis sharing a charming hug.

In an earlier post from For The Win, the athlete opened up on how challenging it can be to go about his life now that he's a sports celebrity.

"It's harder to get around. You've got to find different ways to go about it, find secret passageway places and find corner booths [in restaurants]," Spieth said. "It's not negative, it's something that's really cool. It's a great problem to have. I wouldn't want it any other way, I really wouldn't. But there are certain things you can and can't do that you maybe could before."
