Kristen Doute is no longer working at SUR Lounge, but she isn't unemployed.
Following her season three firing from the Lisa Vanderpump-owned restaurant, the Vanderpump Rules star followed in the footsteps of her best friend, Rachael O'Brien, and began working as a stand-up comedian in Los Angeles.
"Doute and best friend Rachel O’Brien produced, directed and starred in a live sketch comedy show at the Parlour in Hollywood on August 11," Radar Online reported last week. "The Sur crew all supported the ladies offstage: Doute’s rumored ex James Kennedy, Scheana Schay, Jax Taylor and even alum Stassi Schroeder stopped by."
“Everyone actually got along well,” an onlooker told the site. “And Kristen was flirting with a hot new guy!”
Doute and the cast of Vanderpump Rules have been filming season four for the last couple of months, and while Schroeder announced she was leaving the show during a Podcast episode in June, reports continue to swirl regarding her possible return.
Even Lisa Vanderpump has gotten in on the action, teasing of "surprises" during a recent interview after being asked about how Schroeder's exit from the show will impact the reality series.
“It’s going gangbusters," Vanderpump told Fashion & Style. "There are a few surprises this season. It always has a different energy, but you’ll see.”
For more Kristen Doute, tune into Vanderpump Rules season four, when the series returns to Bravo later this year.
