On Wednesday, as rumors continued to swirl regarding his stage 3 cancer diagnosis, Ayers, the ex-boyfriend of The Real Housewives of Orange County star Vicki Gunvalson, fired back at fans who have accused him of lying about the life-threatening illness.

On Monday's new episode of the show, Tamra Barney, Meghan King Edmonds and Heather Dubrow were seen meeting with a psychic, who claimed he saw no cancer in Ayers, and suggested he was possibly faking it.

Following the airing of the latest episode, Gunvalson took to her Bravo blog, where she spoke of her former boyfriend's illness, as well as their recent split.

"I wish him the very best in his journey of beating this cancer and pray for his continued healing and I am hopeful we can remain friends," she wrote. "I ask that you be kind to us and not to judge either one of us. We are both experiencing a lot of pain right now, and ask for you to lift us up in prayer for strength during this difficult time."
