He has been trying to protect her through undercover work with the DEA, but now, JJ (Casey Moss) will be forced to come clean to Paige (True O'Brien) about why he's doing it on Days of Our Lives. 

JJ & Paige Have An Awkward Drive-In

After the two had their nasty break-up when Paige learned the truth about his sleeping with her mother, Eve (Kassie DePaiva), JJ tried to do whatever he could to ensure that he could possibly win the woman he loves back, but had no success. However, after seeing her get closer to Kyle (Michael Cardelle), JJ jumped at the chance to be a part of the DEA's special investigation into the recent increase in drugs in Salem.  

However, since joining the mission, JJ has often gone rogue, because his heart is more set on keeping Paige safe than it is about stopping the drug trade once and for all. But now, after Paige caught him at Kyle's apartment breaking into the safe with the money from the drugs, he will be forced to explain himself.  

JJ Jeopardizes His Entire Operation 

As such, JJ will come clean to her about working undercover for the DEA, and while Paige will possibly approve of the change considering his own history as a drug dealer before they got together, she will question him about whether he is doing it for the right reasons-or if he is doing it for her. 

Finally, after talking to her about the situation, JJ will finally admit what he hasn't been able to yet because he hasn't been given the chance to do so-that he still loves her, with all of his heart and wants her to be safe even if they can't be together.
