A new “Amish Mafia” reality show is turning heads, as the new Discovery Channel program is set to offer an exclusive insight into the so-called “enforcers” of the religious sect.

The show will feature the usually secretive and private community and show how the people who are charged with upholding the law of the community go about their business.

The new series called “Amish Mafia” will give a sneak peak on Tuesday night, and centers around a secret group led by Lebanon Levi to enforce the law in the private group.

The so-called Amish Mafia group has been charged with resolving disputes within the Pennsylvania Dutch country community, and they have been described as being a mix between “Law and Order” and “The Sopranos.”

The group in fact operates in the Lancaster, Pennsylvania's Amish community and look to keep justice and resolve various issues arising.

The Amish group is usually seen as a quiet and quaint lifestyle. They are also known by many for their handmade goods, as well as organic foods. Moreover they are known to reject modern technology luxuries such as cars and electricity.

Now, following in the footsteps of reality programs such as the Desperate Housewives' string of shows, it is believed the unique insight into this even more unique community will attract a huge cult following.

Media critic Michael Levine has said, "Reality television and the Amish are really a match made in TV heaven."

Other shows focusing on the Amish community have done well, including National Geographic's "Amish: Out Of Order" and Discovery sister-network TLC's "Breaking Amish."

"It is a controversial concept and reality feeds on controversy," Levine said. "It's outrageous, it's mysterious and it's unexpected."
