Ben Mason may put his life on the line for the final time on this Sunday's Falling Skies.
The series' penultimate episode will see Tom's (Noah Wyle) middle child take some major risks, and there is a chance the spiked teen will push his luck to far. There are only so many times you can dodge the Grimm Reaper, after all.
"Tom gains a powerful new weapon against the Espheni. Ben (Connor Jessup) puts his life on the line to extract enemy plans," TNT said of "Reunion."
Tom Mason recently saw what life could be like for Hal (Drew Roy), Ben, and Matt (Maxim Knight) if he had kept them out of the war, but that peek at tranquility won't cause the former professor to reign in his children. Instead, his desire to defeat the Espheni will lead his sons into even more danger.
"[Ben] has the ability to get information and stuff that other characters can't - but obviously at personal cost to himself and personal danger," Jessup told EnStars at San Diego Comic-Con. "This is the kind of stuff where, in the past, Tom would have been like, 'You can't do that. It's not worth risking you life.' Now it's totally flipped; he's the one pushing for it."
Jessup took to Twitter to tease the Aug. 21 episode, indicating that there will be "more fun for Ben." Something tells us he's being facetious.
