The Miami Heat (14-7) will take on the surging Golden State Warriors (14-7), who have strung together four consecutive wins to start their longest road trip of the season.  However, the Warriors will certainly have their hands full trying to rack up another against the likes of the Heat on Wednesday night.

After an inconsistent start, Golden State has turned up their game this season, obtaining victories in seven of eight and 11 out of 14 matchups.  Most of their success has actually been a testament to their road play, where the team sports a 8-4 record after going just 11-22 last season.

"We came in here and worked our tails off and we prepared ourselves for this season.  I didn't put any limitations on them.  But we're 14-7 with eight road wins," coach Mark Jackson told ESPN.

On the other hand, Miami isn't performing too shabby themselves, as they lead the NBA with a 51.8 shooting percentage along with 108.6 ppg at home, where the team has won ten of eleven matchups.  However, the Heat are coming off a considerable loss at the hands of the New York Knicks by a 112-92 margin.

Dwyane Wade was limited to a mere 13 points and shot a dismal 3 of 13 against the Knicks.  After putting up a 9 for 12 performance in which he scored 26 against New Orleans on Saturday, Wade shot 11 for 13 with another 26 versus Atlanta in Monday's game.

"Just trying to be as efficient as I can.  Some nights you go for 1 for 13.  Some nights you go 3 for 13.  But you just try to continue to be aggressive and continue taking shots," said Dwayne Wade.
