The Houston Texans (11-2) will take on the Indianapolis Colts (9-4) in a Sunday afternoon showdown. The two teams will battle it out in the first of two matchups with three weeks left to go in the NFL season. A victory for the Texans would give them a second consecutive AFC South crown. However, a loss to the Colts would serve to further complicate the playoff picture.

Houston will look to rebound from a disappointing loss against the New England Patriots and prevent Indianapolis from securing a postseason berth of its own. The Texans were dominated in its game against the Pats via 42-14 margin.

"We still control our destiny. We control everything. We are going to go back and focus on winning the division and locking that up. Everything is still in front of us," defensive end J.J. Watt told ESPN.

On the other hand, if the Colts can pull out a victory, it would give them a playoff spot and put a division title within its grasp. If Indianapolis were to win their remaining three games, which includes another matchup with Houston along with Kansas City, they could claim the South title.

"There is no doubt that (the Texans are) the top horse right now. We've got to go in there and knock them off," interim coach Bruce Arians told the Colts official website.

Indianapolis has been victorious in three straight games and seven out of its last eight, putting them in position with the 2008 Miami Dolphins as the only football clubs to lose a minimum of 14 games the previous season and get into the playoffs the next.
