NCIS: Los Angeles' Callen is ready to go rogue in the season 7 premiere, but the wayward agent won't have a chance to truly complete his mission - at least not yet.

Callen's (Chris O'Donnell) unsanctioned mission will have the OSP team scrambling to track him down during "Active Measures." It's unclear what G will be after, but his pay dirt won't come until sometime this winter.

"In the season opener, Callen's secretive, rogue investigation into 'something,' showrunner Shane Brennan cryptically teases, 'creates a lot of tension' between him, Sam and Hetty and will have a 'fairly major' payoff midway through the season, in a double-episode event," TV Line announced on Tuesday.

Following "Active Measures," viewers will be treated to the 150th episode as well as a special visit from NCIS' Tony DiNozzo (Michael Weatherly) this October. In addition, Deeks (Eric Christian Olsen) mother will make her NCIS: LA debut early in season 7.
