In a rematch of the 2011-12 NBA Finals, the Oklahoma City Thunder (21-5) will go up against the Miami Heat (18-6) at the American Airlines Arena on Tuesday night.  After faltering in Game 1 of the best-of-seven Finals, the Heat went on to win four consecutive games leading them to its second championship in franchise history.

Although the Christmas Day matchup will be one that many NBA fans will surely want to witness, LeBron James and Kevin Durant are considering it just another game in the big scheme of things.

This season, James has scored 20 points minimum in every game, which matches the mark left by the legendary Karl Malone in 1989-90.

"We wanna play well and that's all that matters.  We don't look at it (like) 'let's see where we're at' or how it's gonna define our season.  We wanna play well, we wanna win, and that's our main objective," James told ESPN.

Durant, who's putting up an average of 31.3 points in Oklahoma City's last six regular-season games in this series, also downplayed the hype surrounding the holiday showdown.

"It's so long ago.  Of course, I learned a lot since then.  But to be honest, it's just another game on the schedule.  I gotta come and show up for my team, be a leader on the court for my team, that's all I'm worried about," Durant said.

Since the departure of James Harden to Houston, Russell Westbrook has also turned it up for the Thunder, posting career-highs in assists (8.8) and steals per game (2.1).

"They're two of the best players in the league.  You don't even have to put them at their respective positions, they're just two of the best," James said.
