From the creative mind behind Sons of Anarchy, The Bastard Executioner trades guns for swards as it transports viewers to 14th century Wales. After a close call pulls Wilkin Brattle away form his knightly duties, a search for vengeance throws him back into the world of medieval violence, this time as an executioner.

So, what's next for Brattle now that the two-hour premiere has come and gone? We've got the scoop on the series next batch of episodes -

'The 100' Season 3: 'Mass Death' & 'Broken Promises'; Jason Rothenberg Doles Out Terrifying Teasers

Episode 3: "Effigy / Delw" - penned by Kurt Sutter, Charles Murray, and Nichole Beattie, the Sept. 22 installment will see Brattle exercise his new powers as an executioner when an unlikely suspect is accused of treason (see video below).

Episode 4: "A Hunger / Newyn" - Looking for more scenes with Lady Love? You'll get them as the baroness heads to Windsor to find out what King Edward II has in store for Ventrishire. Meanwhile, Baron Pryce will pay a visit to Castle Ventris.

Episode 5: "Piss Profit / Troeth Elw" - Under the orders of Milus, Brattle will head off to retrieve a mysterious artifact. While the executioner is away, Edward II's right hand will pop by Ventris.
