Outlander can look forward to seeing two familiar faces when season 2 returns to the Highlands once more.

'Outlander' Series: Premiere Date Teased, Will There Be A Midseason Hiatus?

Jamie and Claire will spend the first half of season 2 practicing their French in Paris, but the latter half of the sophomore run will return the time-traveling couple to the mist shrouded world of Scotland.

When they arrive back in Jamie's homeland, the travelers will meet up with none other than Rupert (Grant O'Rouke) and Angus (Stephen Walters). Executive producer Ron Moore made the announcement during a Twitter Q&A on Friday.

Fan favorites, the executioner and the clansman are known for bringing a bit of levity to the series, even when times get dark. Much like his character, O'Rouke is up for enjoying life and having a laugh wherever he can find one.

"Rupert just enjoys what he enjoys in life and doesn't let things stand in the way of him getting them, I guess, if he can," Grant told Access Hollywood. "So even if it's a, 'That's what she said,' joke, that's what we do. I think I'm very similar to him, we just live in different ages."

Look forward to some of that humor as season 2 winds down. Find out more when Outlander returns to Starz in 2016.
