Big Brother host Julie Chen reveals where she would rank the latest winner in the overall ranking.

'Big Brother' Houseguests Steve & Vanessa Tell Liz About The Final 2 Deal

After 98 hard-fought days, Steve Moses made the biggest move in the game by evicting Vanessa Rousso and taking Liz Nolan to the Final 2. Steve was rewarded for his gameplay by the jury, making him the winner of Big Brother 17 by a vote of 6-3.

Chen spoke with Entertainment Weekly after last night's live finale and admitted she would put Steve near the top of the overall winner ranking.

"Steve ranks near the top for me. The jury gladly handed him the win and that's rare," she said. "He managed to make his way to finals and not have anyone hate him. He did it on his own and that's pretty unheard of. Good for Steve!"

While Chen ranks Steve as a good winner, it seems that she may have preferred Vanessa if she had her way. Asked who she would have voted for in a hypothetical Vanessa-Steve Final 2, she admitted she would have sided with the poker player.

"If it was Steve vs, Vanessa, hands down Vanessa. I would have voted for her no doubt," Chen said. "She really worked hard every second she spent in that house to make it to the end. In a way, I am sorry that she didn't get more than a handshake for a job well done. On the other hand, it was a fairy tale come true with Steve winning."

Big Brother 18 will premiere next summer on CBS.
