'Witches Of East End' Star Signs On For New Series

On Wednesday, Madchen Amick who played Wendy on the series, took to her Twitter page to post a photo of the online petition that would help give the show a renewal. There are currently more than 221,000 signatures with a goal at 250,000.

In the caption, Amick gave a "shoutout" to all the fans who've been working hard to keep that petition going strong. She also added that "maybe" one day she and her co-stars can return to give viewers more entertainment.

Network Chief Says 'Witches Of East End' Was The Hardest Show To Cancel

The series was canceled from Lifetime almost a year ago, but fans have not given up on their hope for a renewal. Considering that the show had a high fan base and a lack of closure in the final episode, people have been signing the petition non-stop and created campaigns all over social media.

The last episode of the supernatural drama left a number of unanswered questions, one including what happened to Wendy when she was sent in that fiery dimension and found her estranged sister there. Plus, Ingrid found out she was pregnant not knowing who the father was. Dash also switched bodies with Killian leaving his brother behind bars.
