She turned down a proposal from her current boyfriend because of the timing coinciding with what was her former wedding anniversary to Jason, but now, Sam (Kelly Monaco) will be forced to reveal her real reasons why she is hesitant to move on with Patrick (Jason Thompson) on General Hospital.

While reliving her memories about Jason at the Noodle Buddha Chinese restaurant, where they had their wedding ceremony four years ago, Jake (Billy Miller) arrived and Sam began to confide in him about her true feelings when it comes to the husband she lost. And while talking to him and trying to figure out why she really keeps pausing things and stopping more progression with Patrick, she will finally admit that a part of her wonders if her husband really did die.

"I still think Jason's alive," she says to Jake in a preview clip for the Monday, September 28 episode.

Sam's confession will stun Jake-especially since neither one of them is yet aware that he actually is Jason-and he is in fact back from the dead.

Meanwhile, Patrick will be lamenting to Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) about how he thinks his proposing to Sam may have irreparably damaged their relationship-and his doubts he and Sam could survive will cause Eliabeth worry since she is engaged to Jake-and knows his real identity.

"I think I messed up pushing the proposal," Patrick admits to her in the preview clip.

General Hospital airs Monday-Friday at 3 p.m. on ABC.
