Reality star-turned business mogul Bethenny Frankel, who recently announced her split with her husband of three years, was seen in "great spirits" in Aspen, Colo. during Christmas holidays.

Frankel, 42, announced their breakup two days before Christmas and was seen shopping the following day at luxury stores, dining and partying at local night clubs in the mountains.

The mother one brought along their 2-year-old daughter Bryn for the trip. Frankel didn't announce where she would spend her holiday vacation but hinted at her whereabouts on Twitter when she posted a photo of her friend's husband in ski-wear with the caption "This is my friend's husband who came in the room & she asked if his outfit was from Gymboree. So I finally laughed."

Despite having a successful business empire, the talk show host had several onlookers concerned about her emotional state- an eyewitness said she looked really thin on Christmas Eve and hadn't eaten much. In fact, she didn't eat anything at a popular Italian restaurant.

"I didn't see Bethenny eat anything, she looked really skinny," a source told In Touch.

The next night on Dec. 25 she was also seen at an expensive sushi restaurant.

But a week later she was seen in "great spirits" at a New Year's Eve party.

"She was wearing a black jumpsuit and was in great spirits," an eyewitness told Business Insider of Frankel's spotting at the members-only Caribou Club. "People kept coming up to her to say hello but she stuck with two female friends. She was smiling the entire time and seemed to be enjoying the party."

Frankel reportedly told someone that she had been going to Aspen for 20 years. She had a run-in with her first husband, Peter Sussman, who she was married to from 1994 to 1997, at the New Year's Eve party but the former couple didn't speak. A source told Business Insider that "they were at opposite ends of the room all night."

Aspe, Colo. has been a hot spot for the rich and famous during the holiday season for generations.
