Peter Hale's Teen Wolf journey is not over.

'Teen Wolf' Season 5: Is There Something 'Super Serious' Coming For Lydia & Parrish? Ryan Kelley Explains

The crazed Alpha wannabe was issued a one-way ticket to Eichen house in season 4, but Ian Bohen believes his character still has a role to play. The exact when and where of Peter's return, however, remains unknown.

"I don't know for sure; we never know for sure," Bohen teased at Brussel's Werewolf Con in late September. "I think the character would need to finish [his story], it would be nice to do that as opposed to just disappear. I would imagine [he'll return]. I would be surprised if he didn't, but I can't say for sure."

'Teen Wolf' Season 5: How Long Will Lydia Be In Eichen House? New PHOTO Teases Future

It is also unknown where Peter will be as season 5B opens. Stiles and Lydia's summertime trip to Eichen House revealed Peter was no longer rooming with Dr. Veleck, but the tri-eyed doc failed to say where the Hale patriarch had disappeared to. This winter, Lydia will become Eichen House's next supernatural patient, so perhaps she could shed a little light on Peter's whereabouts.

If Peter doesn't appear within the asylum's walls, there is a chance he could pop up when Malia's mother returns to Beacon Hills. The Desert Wolf is planning on murdering her offspring and while Peter might not care if Malia lives or dies, he may be interested to find out why someone wants to off his only child.

Catch up with the residents of beacon Hills when Teen Wolf returns to MTV this January.
