FX's American Horror Story: Hotel is being destroyed by the Parents Television Council for its sexual and violent content.

Lady Gaga Explains The Method To Her Madness In Picking Out Costumes

The Parents Television Council (PTC), the watchdog group responsible for informing families of the "harmful effects" of sex, violence and profanity in the media, is blasting AHS: Hotel. The organization was deeply offended by the sex and violence in the show's premiere episode.

"This is the most vile and shocking content I've ever seen on TV. Ever," PTC President Tim Winter wrote in an email to the group, according to The Hollywood Reporter. "Most Americans have no idea this is primetime fare on advertiser-supported basic cable. And everyone is paying for it as part of their program bundle."

Winter said that the premiere of Hotel had an "unbelievably explicit combination of sex and violence."

The premiere episode featured multiple sexually explicit scenes, including an orgy scene with Lady Gaga and Matt Bomer's characters and a disturbing sequence involving Max Greenfield's character being raped by a monstrous creature wielding a drill-bit dildo.

Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk's other primetime show isn't safe either. The PTC blasted Fox's Scream Queens as well.

The group noted that the show is rated TV-14 and airs in a timeslot susceptible to young viewers. However, "in spite of this, the program features graphic decapitations and discussions of necrophilia in the family hour ... all sponsored by McDonalds."

Murphy and company have not commented on the PTC report.

American Horror Story: Hotel airs Wednesdays at 10 p.m. ET/PT on FX.
