Sheree Whitfield is already having issues with the producers of Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Atlanta weeks before the series returns to the network in a long awaited premiere.

One insider revealed to The Daily Mail earlier this week that Whitfield was blindsided when she found out how much she would actually be on the show this season.

“Here she thought she was returning to pick ups here NeNe left off as one of the original cast members, but now her episodic run is as limited as Demetria McKinney’s was last season.

The show’s former executive producer Carlos King is called out as the one who led Whitfield on to believe that she would having a more lucrative role on the show.

Interestingly enough, Whitfield has her own cast photo, but is not on the official one with the rest of the co-stars.

The source also revealed that by the time Whitfield realized the difference, it was too late.

“Sheree didn’t get a contract for the show unties he started production on Season 8. She was several weeks into taping when the network presented her a contract with limited number of episodes, much to her surprise.”

On top of that, word is that a concept that Whitfield developed for a brand new show was also taken from her. The series was set to star successful real estate agents in Atlanta. But King is accused of stealing that.

“Without telling Sheree, Carlos started pitching the show to networks and WE TV became interested.”
