Liz Taylor has been a mysterious force through two episodes of American Horror Story: Hotel, lurking around in the background through various scenes. But fans will learn much more about her in the weeks to come.

O'Hare spoke with Newsday recently and teased that Liz Taylor will get her own sex scene in an upcoming episode.

How Does Angela Bassett Enter The Picture On 'AHS: Hotel' This Week?

"This season, I'm doing a lot of free-falling, going to places I've never gone before. I had my first real sex scene ever in my career. That . . . that was scary -- challenging -- and ultimately rewarding. It's a beautiful, beautiful scene. I can't wait for it to air," O'Hare said.

Apparently Liz Taylor's sexual partner will be a worthy one, too.

"Well, here's the nice thing -- I'm having sex with someone who's a wonderful actor and a beautiful physical specimen. And . . . I get to wear clothes," O'Hare noted. "I was willing to go full nude, but we talked about the context of the scene and decided I needed to wear a lovely, lacy negligee with black underwear. So there you go. [He chuckles.] . . . It's the best of both worlds."

O'Hare has to transform quite significantly to get into character as Liz Taylor.

"There's the makeup. And the costumes. But . . . the short answer is the heels. They gotta be 6- or 7-inch platforms, with leopard skin," he said. "You put them on and suddenly I'm 6-foot-4 or so. It turns me into this towering figure and gives me an extraordinary power."

American Horror Story boss Ryan Murphy recently spoke to Entertainment Weekly about Liz Taylor and how she might be O'Hare's favorite character.

"I think this is Denis' favorite character. I think particularly in the case of Denis, Liz Taylor is such an emotional role and I think it scares him," Murphy said. "But that's the great fun of the show. He talked to me a lot about how playing Liz Taylor has sort of changed his own personal views."

American Horror Story: Hotel airs Wednesdays at 10 p.m. ET/PT on FX.
