The Miami Heat (23-10) will make the trek to Oregon on Thursday to face off against the Portland Trail Blazers (19-15) at Rose Garden.

The Heat are looking to get back on track amid its recent struggles, but will have to do so against the hot-at-home Trail Blazers.  On the other hand, Portland will attempt to obtain its ninth consecutive home victory and fourth overall.

While Miami still sports the best record in the NBA's Eastern Conference, LeBron James and company have only prevailed in three of their last seven games, two of the wins came in overtime and the other being against the league-worst Washington Wizards.

The Heat have been failing to play effective basketball on the boards with a minus-9.2 rebounding margin in its last five matchups.  Most recently on Tuesday night, the team was outperformed by 19 rebounds in its 87-77 loss at the hands of the Indiana Pacers.

Although James is averaging a career-high 8.3 rebounds, Miami still ranks toward the bottom of the NBA in boards (39.0) as well as offensive rebounds (8.0).

"At some point, enough will be enough for us and we'll take care of that department," Miami coach Erik Spoelstra told ESPN regarding the team's rebound struggles.

While the Heat are a mere 7-7 away from its home court, they've been victorious in their last three trips to Portland.

The Trail Blazers have won eight consecutive games on its home court and are aiming for their longest streak since winning 12 straight in the 2008-2009 season.
