The public is pretty gung ho on kicking Raven Symone off The View.

'The View' Gets Off To Awkward Start With Talk About Sex Toys

In a petition released last Friday, people are putting in their signatures to have the daytime talk show co-host removed from the series. This is due to some of her controversial comments on news outlets, including the student in South Carolina who was dragged out of her desk by a policeman for not putting her phone away. Even though Symone said that officer held responsibility, she also said that students need to "get off" their phones.

As of Sunday, the online petition has more than 127,000 signatures. On Monday, 3,000 more were added.

At more than 100,000 signatures, the person who created this petition expressed the gratitude for everyone who did what they could on this behalf.

"It is an incredible achievement and I am so proud of everyone who signed!" the petition reads. "I know people have mixed emotions about this petition and I understand why, please understand that this petition was not out of spite or hatred for Raven Symone but merely for the love of my own people. As a race I know that we can achieve so much, and I would love to have role models on television fitting of our strength."

It's doubtful that Symone will be removed from the show based on ABC's response:

"We love Raven," the network said via Us Weekly. "She is confident, genuine and opinionated, all qualities that make her a great addition to the panel."
