Hermangiosarcoma, a common but deadly decease in golden retrievers was diagnosed in Lily, a very lucky dog from Kailua, Oahu in Hawaii.

The Feather and Fur Animal Hospital said that Lily had a tumor on her spleen and that she was in a bad shape. The poor pup was bleeding internally, she could barely stand and was in need of immediate blood transfusion.

Even after a successful surgery, the vet said that Lily only had months to bleed out and eventually die. However, there was still a 10% chance that the tumor was benign. With every ounce of hope, Lily's family decided to proceed to surgery. The 6 pound tumor was then removed.

A week later, the results of the surgery were in and indicated that Lily is negative of cancer. Lets share the joyful moment with Lily on the video below.
