Can fans expect a hefty kidnapping in the new season of Degrassi?

Chatter On Zoe's Big Surprise For Cheerleaders On 'Degrassi'

That seems to be the case based on what two actors are saying although it sounds kind of like a joke. On Monday, the series' Twitter page posted a video with actors Andre Kim (Winston) and Olivia Scriven (Maya) where they discuss something that hasn't been thought of yet- a secret kidnapping of their friend Miles.

Considering that both Winston and Maya have been having a troubling relationship with Miles in the last season ever since he started spending more time with Tristan, it seems like these two might develop a crazy obsession if they want him that much. While that's pretty overreaching, the actors pointed out how it could work.

Chatter On Tristan Confronting Miles About Their Relationship On 'Degrassi'

"We just both have this deep underlying issue with Miles," Kim said.

"And he's got a lot of money," Scriven added. "So why not kidnap him for ransom."

Kim added that they could "take his money and take his car and take his little brother."

"We take his soul!" Scriven chimed in.

The two then laughed this off, giving the impression that their characters might not go this far, but perhaps it might be worth thinking about.

Degrassi Season 15 is expected to premiere sometime in 2016.
