It looks like the Duggar family has managed to do it again by sparking quite the controversy and all because of a baby name. According to People Magazine on Wednesday, the couple's new bundle of joy is named after Charles Spurgeon, a British preacher who lived from 1834-1892. The site says that during Spurgeon's time, he was considered the best-known preacher in England, frequently speaking in front of audiences of more than 10,000 people. He founded a theological college in London, which is today named Spurgeon's College.

Fans though are not liking the name at all and are urging the couple to reconsider their firstborn's name.

Some comments included, "If they were naming the child after CHARLES Spurgeon then why not use Charles? My first thought was Sturgeon when I saw it. I just don't understand it," along with, "This. Use Charles for crying out loud. I guess that would have made too much sense. That name is HIDEOUS."

Another critic wrote, "These people are not right in their mind. Who does that to an innocent child? Horrible name. What's the short form, Spurge??"

So far, the Duggars have not commented on the criticism. Keep up with Enstars for all the latest news on Jessa Duggar, Ben Seewald and all of your favorite reality television stars right here.
