The latest episode of The Vampire Diaries did not exactly go over well since Stefan (Paul Wesley) attempted to kill Lily's (Annie Wersching) lover Julian (Todd Lasance) since he is absolutely fuming over what Julian did to Valerie (Elizabeth Blackmore) in 1863.

Is There Enough 'Common Ground' Presently For 'The Vampire Diaries' & 'The Originals' To Have Crossovers?

The hatred will continue over into the next episode of course, which is called "Mommie Dearest" and it seems as though Stefan and his brother Damon (Ian Somerhalder) will hold Lily captive similarly to how Lily and her heretics once held Caroline (Candice King) earlier this season.

The CW Television Network's YouTube channel teased the episode, in which Stefan enlightens Damon that they are "hosting Thanksgiving."

Plus, Caroline will note that it seems like the heretics are using some humans as "blood banks" since in the last episode Bonnie (Kat Graham) and Matt (Zach Roerig) stumbled upon a group of humans that appeared to be under some spell to willingly give up their blood.

"I guess you know what the heretics are having for Thanksgiving dinner," she tells Matt as they stand around the humans that are pretty void of emotion.

Meanwhile, back to Thanksgiving dinner with the Salvatores, Stefan is heard saying, "Julian knows that I want him dead. I am recruiting an ally."

It seems that the ally will be Lily, but there is of course a catch since she'll wind up tied up.

"You need to help us get rid of Julian," Stefan tells Lily, but she admits, "We did a spell. We're linked."

That is a bit of information that comes as a shock and that means anything done to Lily will happen to him and vice versa.

"If he dies so do I," she reveals and then Damon is seem saying, "Best Thanksgiving ever."

Lily is seen falling to the floor so perhaps Stefan and Damon will manage to dispose of her and Julian.

The Vampire Diaries airs on Thursdays at 8 p.m. ET on The CW.
