While President Obama was visiting New York City this week, filmmaker Spike Lee gave the commander in chief a fresh new pair of Nike Air Jordans.

Lee tweeted a photograph of himself with the President and said, "President Obama is a huge Bulls and Jordan fan. Here he holds his gift of Spizikes from MJ himself. YO"

Obama, who lived most of his life in Chicago, has gone on record to express his enthusiasm for the Chicago Bulls and Michael Jordan. Allegedly, the pair of sneakers that Lee gifted to Obama are called the "Bordeaux" and are priced at $175 dollars. The pair of Nikes feature Lee's "40 Acres and a Mule" logo, modeled after his production company.

The perks of being President are great--in this case, Obama is now in posession of some cool new shoes... that won't even go on sale to the public until February! Talk about pumped up kicks!
