A Vanity Fair piece is asking fans to not get too attached to Jeffrey Dean Morgan's character Jason on The Good Wife.

Could Hillary Clinton Guest Star In An Upcoming Episode?

A lot of hopes had been pinned on Morgan's character Jason, who is Alicia's (Julianna Margulies) character, and is also being pitched a prospective romantic interest for her. But judging by the new Vanity Fair piece, Jason's not going to be a mainstay.

The piece even goes on to highlight that Jason is probably the best thing about season 7 right now, adding that the other main characters like Diane (Christine Baranski) and Cary (Matt Czuchry) aren't being written as well anymore.

Eli To Succesfully Botch Peter's Camaign?

The report goes on to suggest that it's not as much the fact that Morgan might be leaving but that the rumors about this chapter being the last of the CBS legal drama might hold some truth.

Meanwhile, here's the synopsis of the episode:

"Diane is personally conflicted when she is forced to argue a heated case between pro-choice and pro-life advocates in order to retain an important client, represented by attorney Ethan Carver (Peter Gallagher). Also, Alicia and Lucca are desperate for new business and attempt to poach clients from Louis Canning (Michael J. Fox)."

The episode will air on Nov. 22 on CBS.
