After the big reveal about who shot Annalise (Viola Davis) in the fall finale of How to Get Away With Murder, the show has been set up to test the loyalty of some characters.

Conrad Ricamora Dishes About Surprising Sex Scene In Latest Episode   

In a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter, showrunner Pete Nowalk dished about some aspects of the ABC series going forward. In the finale episode Nate (Billy Brown) is also included in the cover up with Annalise and crew, this raises the possibility of ratting out the team. Nowalk addressed the question with more questions, playing equally clueless himself, giving no hints as to where this ship was headed.

"That is a big question for me. Does he cover for Annalise or does he just sell all of them out? We'll get an answer to that when we come back. Nate is a big mystery when it comes to his motives. Is he really on board with Annalise? Or is he playing a long con?" he asked.

The finale episode, titled 'What Did We Do?,' aired on ABC on Nov. 19.
