Speaking with Larry Wilmore on his Late Night show, Rhimes answered some tough questions with honesty. Wilmore straight up asked her if she had ever killed off any characters just because she disliked the actors portraying the part. Rhimes agreed but didn't give away any names. Even though, Wilmore offered her bonus points if she would name names. Well, this also implied that Rhimes could have killed off the characters in various shows she has worked on, ranging from Grey's Anatomy to Scandal.

The Daily Mail listed various candidates for actos who crossed Rhimas and their charcters died as a result, including Patrick Dempsey (Grey's Anatomy), Columbus Short (Scandal) and Eric Dane (Grey's).

Rhimes also spoke about writing her book, Year of Yes, and how she essentially did it for herself.

"The more I wrote about what I was doing, the more I got out of it, and I ended up writing the book just for me, which I think was a good thing. If I had been thinking that anybody else was going to read it, I probably would have censored myself so that what came out was sanitized," she laughed, "for my protection.'"
