Well Empire is definitely keeping the juicy drama going after yet another episode on Fox Wednesday night and social media went on fire after Jussie Smollet’s character Jamal Lyon made a shocking move.

It’s no secret that Jamal is homosexual on the show. But when he locked lips with Alicia Keys character on Wednesday’s episode, many were extremely surprised. So fans hopped on social media to respond.

One called on a pet to reenact a conversation between her and her boyfriend in which she said there was no way they would kiss because Jamal is gay. But before she could get the word out, it happened.

  Of course some also referred to Andrew Caldwell, the man who claimed he had been delivered from homosexuality earlier this year. One fan wrote, “Jamal is DEEELIVERRED! He don’t like men no mo!!!”

Another showed they were clearly confused and added a gif that reads, “Wait, what?”

  Another simply asked him, “Umm Jamal.. What chu doin bro?”

One also joked, “Someone needs to remind Jamal that it’s Adam and Steve not Adam and Eve” while another laughed, “She turned Jamal out”

 

Radio host Charlamagne said that Jamal was simply being way too selfish.

“Pick A Side Jamal!!!! Stop Being Greedy!”

 

Keys had a cameo in the second season premiere back in September, but this time around she has definitely made waves that will keep her character on for awhile. Also in this episode, Taraji P. Henson finds out that her latest love was really scamming her, while Anika tries to figure out what to do with her being pregnant with Hakeem’s child.
