TLC’s mega-hit series “Here Comes Honey Boo Boo” returned on Sunday night with a special titled “You Don’t Know Boo.”  The special featured previously unseen video footage from season one. One piece of the footage that has been drawing attention across the web is a segment in which Sugar Bear and Mama June explain how they first met.

In the highly entertaining footage, Mama June and Sugar Bear are each asked about their first date with one another.

When queried on their first meeting, the doting Sugar Bear didn’t hold back on revealing his seemingly instantaneous love for his current beau.

“When I met June it was love at first sight, I know she loves me. She does a lot for me. We’ve been happy ever since,” he said.

On the other hand, while Sugar Bear’s love was all in for June early on, her feelings for him were a little bit more delayed.

"Me and Sugar Bear met out of a chat room off the Internet," June revealed. "It was just supposed to be a random hookup thing, and here we go nine years later and a kid. Was it love at first sight? No. Was it bed at first sight? Maybe. You’ve got to try the milk out before you buy the cow,” she revealed.

"Here Comes Honey Boo Boo" revolves around the life and family of a six-year-old beauty pageant contestant, Alana "Honey Boo Boo" Thompson. While most girls around her age are playing with dolls, Honey Boo Boo instead competes on stage in beauty pageants for prizes. The cameras follow her family living life on a shoestring budget in the small town of McIntyre, Ga.

The program will be airing its next special, titled “A Very Boo Christmas,” on Feb. 10 at 8 p.m. EST on TLC.
