In a promo for the season finale released on Sunday, Noah says that he wants to just make a choice and be happy with his life. This seems to include Alison although Helen might be on his mind. She even asks him if he's thinking of taking her back.

Alison goes on a rant about how tired she is of keeping secrets especially since what she's had to do to Cole. In what should be a good day, she might take that part away and just make everything worse.

Fans can also expect who killed Scotty based on what Julia Goldani Telles (Whitney) told New York Post. She didn't give specifics, but she mentioned that "somebody's going to be found guilty."

One suspect in particular is Noah and it's been that way for a long time now. So is there a chance that he will be redeemed at some point?

"I don't know if I call it redemption, but you will empathize more with him at the end of the season," Telles said.

The season finale for The Affair airs this Sunday, December 20 at 10 p.m. ET on Showtime.
