'NCIS: LA' Season 7 Spoilers: Midseason Premiere Gets Explosive - At A Nuclear Plant

After years of searching, the orphan agent will finally find out what his first name is. Callen (Chris O'Donnell) has been living his life with a confused period after his truncated name, but no more.

"We just shot an episode where he learns what his name is," executive producer R. Scott Gemmell told TV Insider.

It is unknown exactly when the big reveal will take place, but fans of O'Donnell's character will have a lot to chew on as the season comes to a close.

"A big part of the remainder of the season is going to focus on Callen's story," Gemmell teased. "We felt like it was about time to take that to the next level."

No one knows for sure if the man with the answers - Arkady (Vyto Ruginis)- is alive or dead, but questions about his existence will resurface not long after the midseason premiere. If Arkady is still above ground, there is a very good chance Callen may find his father.

"Arkady was supposed to be in one episode, but we loved Vyto," the EP explained. "So we kept building on his relationship with Callen, and then we introduced his daughter, Anna [Bar Paly]. That'll play out in episodes 15 and 16."
