Skydiving Videos: This Man Shocked His Parents When He Jumped Out Of A Plane Mid-Skype

While travelling abroad, I think it's normal to call your parents just to let them know what you're up to and to let them know you’re safe.

That's what this Irish backpacker Roger Ryan did but it's with a twist. After they started their ascent, he surprised his parents with a Skype call from the plane in his current location of Sydney, Australia, seconds before leaping out of a plane.

Without him informing where he was, his parents assumed he was on a bus but were completely shocked when their son jumped out of a plane in a 14,000 foot skydive.

His parents couldn't believe what he just did that they started laughing and swearing. His mom then hilariously took a picture of her computer screen using her iPad.
