'Scorpion' Season 2 Spoilers: Can Sylvester Cooperate With His Estranged Father? Lives Hang In The Balance In 'Sun Of A Gun' [VIDEO]
Scorpion's Mr. and Mrs. O'Brien won't be the only parents to have a tension-filled visit with their genius son in season 2. Sylvester's dad is coming to town, and from what we've heard, Sly's relationship with his pops makes Walt's family look like the Cleavers.
The hits just keep on coming for the human calculator. From Megan's death to going to prison to jumping down the side of a burning building, Sylvester (Ari Stidham) has had a stressful season. Its lucky Scorpion comes equipped with a built in psychologist, because the 22-year-old will certainly need one after Jeff Fahey joins the cast as Mr. Kenneth Dodd
Sylvester rarely talks about his family, but we know he was desperate enough to hack a bank at 16 in order to leave his folks behind. In "Sun of a Gun," Sly's military father will drop back into his life when Scorpion is tasked with saving the world once more.
"Sylvester comes face to face with his estranged father, a retired general, who asks Team Scorpion for help when he believes that a dictator in Africa has uncovered a deadly World War II-era weapon of mass destruction and intends to use it," CBS teased.
Perhaps Scorpion will be able to convince Mr. Dodd that just because Sly isn't the bulky jock his father envisioned, that doesn't mean he is any less of a hero.
